Our Staff

We firmly believe that our staff are our centre’s greatest asset.
We are very proud of the long association many staff have with our centre, and all staff, be they casual or full time, are recognized and respected for the skills, qualifications and experience that they bring to our staffing team.

Each room has a mixture of staff with early childhood and child care qualifications, those studying towards qualifications and those with life experiences and skills.

We hold an honour board in reception that proudly recognizes our staffing team’s years of service to the child care industry.

All staff (and management committee members) are required to undergo and maintain a safety screening check through the Department of Education, which ensures they are approved to work with children.

All staff are encouraged to attend training courses throughout their employment with our centre. Many of these are regular occurrences such as First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training. We also attend courses that are of interest for personal and professional development.

The Centre host students from Tafe and local schools studying child care subjects, as we believe strongly in the value of supporting and assisting in the training of our child care professionals for the future.
