Kingston Chile Care Centre

Child Care Benefit (CCB) Information

Our Centre is approved to give child care benefit as a reduction in child care fees.

On or before enrolment, families are advised to contact Centrelink (Family Assistance Office) on 136150 if they plan to register for  Child Care Benefit. Families will be given a reference number and can choose whether they intend to claim CCB as a weekly deduction in fees or as a lump sum at the end of the financial year.

Parents  must sign their child IN and OUT each day and record arrival and departure times, to claim this fee reduction.

It is the responsibility of parents to keep their details up to date with Centrelink in regard to CCB eligibility.  Adjustments made by Centrelink will be credited or debited to a families account accordingly.

The Centre is responsible for maintaining  attendance records and providing quarterly reports to FAO detailing every child’s usage details.

If families have any queries regarding their accounts, or the location of past attendance sheets, please see the Director or Assistant Director in the office.

Absences:

Any absences must be signed for once a child returns to the centre if families wish to claim the CCB proportion off their fees.

In the event of an absence from care, please call the centre to advise your carers your child will not be attending. The centre will reduce fees to 85% for a total of 42 absence days each financial year.
