Wallabies
Our Wallaby room caters for children aged from 3 to 4 years.
With a maximum of 22 children with three permanent carers, these children have a large sunny room that leads out to an adjacent courtyard.
This room has it’s own ablution area with child size toilets and hand basins and has a nappy change facility adjoining for those children still moving through their toilet training.
Each child has a personal portfolio that records samples and photos of their “work”(play), along with developmental observations and plans.
A room program is mounted on the wall that records some of the activities occurring that day and those children who enjoyed participating in them.
As with all rooms, carers are happy to report on each child’s day to families on collection, and are available to discuss individual children with their families in greater depth at a mutually suitable time.
Kangaroos
Our Kangaroos, (children aged from 4 to 5 years), can be found in the two cabins located at the top of our playground.
Their rooms can accommodate up to ten children and each has a dedicated carer.
